The Lee Unity Seniors is a fraternal organization governed under by-laws approved by the Lee Town Board.  This group is open to all residents of the towns of LEE and AVA, 55 years of age or older.

A business meeting is held at 1:00 PM on the first Wednesday of each month consisting of opening remarks by the president; reading of last months minutes; the treasurers report; reports by the various chairpersons; a guest speaker and a "coffee/donuts" get-together.

The third Wednesday meeting held at 12:00 PM is a "dish to Pass" luncheon with limited business conducted.

From funding set up by the Town Board, the Director contracts with tour companies to obtain day trip information.  As stipulated by the Town Board, participating in these trips is open to all residents of the towns of LEE and AVA, regardless of being a member of the Lee Unity Seniors group. 

All persons 55 years of age or older are charged $30 per person, per trip.  Those persons less than 55 years of age or not residing in the towns of LEE or AVA are charged $55 per person, per trip. 

The Town Board stipulated that only day trips are to be considered because they want maximum participation and some people could not afford or tolerate overnight or longer trips.

  We strive for four trips per season:  May, June, July and September.  An annual trip guide is provided which cites dates, locations, and attractions for each trip, except for September, which is a "Mystery" trip where only the director knows the destination.
